"I'm so thankful to Coach Nicole and Coach Kasey for the positive impact that they've had on my daughters. I can't believe that it's been four years since Haley and Abby joined Coach Kasey and Coach Nicole's Young America Cheerleading squad. I'll never forget that first practice. Haley and Abby were both very nervous and shy. They hid behind me at first, then sat back in tears until the coaches comforted them and gently coaxed them into joining the other girls. Since that time, I've seen my daughters come out of their shells and gain confidence. I credit these fantastic coaches with much of the personal growth that my girls have experienced. Also, it doesn't hurt that their teams have won the YAC Championship in each of last four years! Thank you Coach Nicole and Coach Kasey!"
"My daughter loves to perform. Being involved in cheer leading has taught her to handle the pressure of performing in front of a crowd. She has learned the importance of hard work, self-discipline, commitment,and team work. Kasey and Nicole are perfectionists. They have passed that quality on to the girls they coach; therefore making them champions. They believe in their team and have accomplished great things with asquad of girls at all different ages and levels of athleticism.
In my opinion, the mark of a great coach is the ability to work a team hard enough so that they can succeed but also let them know you love and appreciate them. Kasey and Nicole have that ability. I am grateful that my daughter's first experience with cheer leading was with them."
My daughter has been a cheerleader on the La Cueva West team coached by Nicole and Kasey for the last two years. My daughter has grown as a cheerleader and a person. She has learned that hard work pays off with learning amazing skills, making friends, and having a great work ethic. Kyra and her team have won the YAC championship 4 years in a row - but honestly that is not what impresses me most. What impresses me most is that Nicole and Kasey can teach girls that range in age from 4 to 13 to create a fluid and amazing cheer and dance routine that rivals the abilities of most high school teams. To be able to create a valuable role for each girl no matter what her age in such a flawless way is a testament to their creativity and commitment to every girls growth as a cheerleader and young woman.
